ABOUT

I create paintings that capture the fleeting beauty of nature, emotions, and memories - each piece is a story told through color, light, and texture. My work balances on the edge of realism and impressionism, opening space for abstraction and personal interpretation.
I live and create in Iceland, where I find endless inspiration in the landscape and light. I transfer these impressions onto raw canvas, paper, and other natural materials. My paintings are a record of moments that carry everything ephemeral - the scent of the air, the warmth of the sun, the shadows of passing days. I experiment with texture and color, searching for ways to make light and atmosphere an integral part of my art.
For me, art is a continuous journey through various disciplines - from painting and visual arts to theater, film, fashion, and art education. My works are part of private collections in Iceland, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Ukraine, the USA, and Poland.
I am also the author of "The Canons of Female Beauty from Ancient Egypt to the 21st Century."
My paintings are not merely reflections of reality—they are an invitation to pause, look deeper, and discover personal meanings.
